Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries Rivers Trust has been hosting an annual auction since 2020 to raise funds for our charitable objectives. Since 2021 the proceeds of the auction have gone towards our participation in the Riverwoods initiative. Climate change poses a major threat to salmon across Scotland, but more so in the Kyle of Sutherland district where Marine Scotland predicts large temperature increases. More information can be found on our Riverwoods page, but we aim to take action to tackle the climate crisis.
Our auction fundraiser takes place online using the Givergy platform and will be open throughout October 2024 – giving people the time to check and bid on lots. We have a wide variety, from fishing tackle, holidays, experience days, beverages, artwork, stalking and more.
2024 Auction goes live on Tuesday the 1st October and ends on Thursday the 31st October. We are developing the website and are continually updating with new lots regularly.
