Get Involved

Kyle Fisheries undertakes many activities that we need help with throughout the year.  From tree planting and habitat conservation to assistance with the electro-fishing program and the transporting of smolts (young salmon ready to migrate to the sea for the first time). During the smolt run season we move the young salmon beyond any barriers or obstacles, by trapping and trucking them, giving them clear passage to the sea.
